Nigerian AfroPop Singer and One Time MTN Project Fame winner, Chidinma after taking a break in the music scene to focus on motion pictures, is back to doing what she knows best with the release of a song ‘Love Me’.

Last year, Chidinma starred in Kunle Afolayan’s The Bridge, secured the soundtrack titled Gone Forever for the movie Wives On Strike. This song is quite a good start for her this new year as we’re about three weeks away to the love season called Valentine.

Produced by Oscar, the song has a calm tempo blended in affectionate lyrics for lovebirds while combining soft contemporary string and percussion sounds. She switches between Igbo and English, and even if you don’t understand what she’s saying, you can feel the vibe which of course is love.

The song is relaxing and will take a few listens to adjust to, Chidinma has made a strong come back with this one and it couldn’t have come at a better time. If we know Nigerians at all, this song is set to become the song for the upcoming Valentine’s Day.
