Barrack Obama’s dream is to be the motivation for many coloured people to persevere and push until they are heard and things change for the better. Perhaps, this is why the former US president and his wife are currently in advanced negotiations with the streaming giant, Netflix to make a show that aims to highlight ‘inspirational stories’.

The couple has been on lowkey since they left the White House but this movie series is about to bring them back to the limelight. According to the paper, the number of episodes, format and theme are yet to be decided – although a few possible show ideas have been floated.

The two could also just lend their brand, and their endorsement, to documentaries or fictional programming on Netflix which aligns with their beliefs and values.
