Will Johnny Drille Really Be Opening For Jon Bellion’s Concert In Nigeria?

We are hoping so too!

It started like a casual statement/request on twitter with Johnny Drille asking Jon Bellion to bring the tour for his new album Glory Sound Prep to Nigeria, referring to his rather loyal fan base there. And then Jon Beliion replied, requiring the coolest condition you could ever imagine to make the concert happen: that Johhny Drille opens for him.

Recall that the Marvin Records artiste had back in July done a cover of Jon Bellions popular hit, “All Time Low”, and has won hearts over with his beautiful voice and love oriented songs, like his recent collaboration with Simi in “Halleluya.” A contestant at the MTN Project Fame in 2013, he came to spotlight with a cover of Di’Ja’s “Awww” in 2015. He would go on to get signed into the Marvin fold in 2017 after his well received first single Wait for Me got him nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies in 2016.

Jon Bellion on the other hand finally released his highly expected album Glory Sound Prep On November 9 to favourable reviews, two and half years after his debut album, The Human Condition. He will kick off touring for the hot new album in June 2019. We hope it gets to Nigeria and we are excited to see the Johnny Drille’s opening happen.
